In partnership with the City of Waterloo, Main Street Waterloo is pleased to introduce the designation of more than 25, 15 minute Grab-n-Go parking spaces throughout Downtown Waterloo.

"We hope these new spaces will encourage our community to continue to patronize our local-owned businesses in Downtown and make curbside pick-up, and quick errands easier for all," said Executive Director Jessica Rucker..

In 2023, the Waterloo City Council hired Fishbeck to conduct a parking study of downtown Waterloo. The study was conducting in the fall of 2023 and included

one-on-one stakeholder interviews, an online survey, and an inventory of the parking supply and usage. They presented their findings and recommendations

on February 19, 2024. The City Council will review the recommendations

and make decisions on changes to parking in downtown Waterloo.

Look for these signs at the beginning of the block along 4th St and near business clusters throughout Downtown.
