Main Street Waterloo is gearing up for its annual family Christmas party.
Visitors to this season’s event will be greeted by a fresh batch of holiday decorations funded by a variety of grants and donations.
Winter Wonder’Loo is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. December 13, 2014 on the main level of the Black’s Building at East Fourth and Sycamore streets. The kid-oriented event presented by the downtown Main Street organization will feature a number of activities for children at “Santa’s Workshop.”
This is an event Main Street does to pay back to the community and families in the community who may not have a lot to spend but still want to get the kids out to see Santa and get some (keepsake) photos. Kids will be able to make simple crafts to take home with the help of Main Street volunteers. Free candy, orange drink and hot chocolate will be provided compliments our sponsors.
Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Elves and Elsa will be on hand.
Charley’s Angels Photography will be available to take photos of kids with Santa for $3 each.
Back by popular demand we’ll have our North Pole shopping area, which is a place youngsters can go in without their parents and shop for items in the $1 to $3 price range to give to family members.
This marks the fourth year Winter Wonder’Loo will be in the Black’s Building.
