About 1,000 fourth-graders ran with the Quentin Hart Mayor pro tem in downtown Waterloo this morning starting at the RiverLoop Expo Plaza at 9:45 am. The event stresses the importance of students being active and developing life-long health and fitness habits. The run begins at the corner of Park and Commercial Sts, continuing on Park Ave and across the Cedar River to Lafayette St, then turning on Lafayette St to 5th St., then continuing on fifth across the Cedar River back to the RiverLoop Expo Plaza.
