A deliciously diverse dining experience, Taste of ‘Loo will take place from 5:30 to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Downtown Waterloo. Get your Passport and experience a world of flavors in Downtown Waterloo. Tickets for the Taste of Loo will be available for purchase February 15th at the Main Street Waterloo office, 212 E. 4th St., in Downtown Waterloo for $20.00 per person or you can purchase corporate packages of 10 tickets for $180 (cash or checks only). You won’t want to miss this night! Multi-cultural inspired cuisine being offered by: Briqhouse Bar & Grill, Waterloo Brown Bottle, Cu Restaurant, Jameson's Public House & Restaurant, Lucy’s Café in River Plaza, The Thai Bowl, Newtons Paradise Cafe, RiverLoop Public Market Co-op, El Patron Mexican Restaurant, Cottonwood Canyon Coffee, Popcorn Heaven, Laughing Tree Café and Screaming Eagle American Bar and Grill. You won’t want to miss this night! Multi-cultural inspired cuisine being offered by many downtown businesses. With the purchase of a “passport” ticket, each of the participating establishments will provide you with one sample of their specialty (Beverages are additional). You may visit the restaurants at your own pace and in any order.

Funky Junk-a-Loo 2016

Tailgates into benches, wrenches turned into coat hangers, wine bottles into wind chimes…. You can see all of these creations and more at Funky Junk-a-loo. Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in downtown Waterloo will be transformed into repurposed paradise and a sea of antiques. We are using the ENTIRE convention center this year showcasing 70+ vendors on two floors, seminars and demonstrations and LOTS of door prizes! Hours: Saturday March 19th Early Bird 8am-10am General Admission 10am - 4pm Sunday March 20th 9am - 3pm Come on out to an event we’re sure you won’t want to miss! Two day general admission will be $3 in advance and $5 at the door and children 10 and under will be free. Early Bird tickets are $20 each and include two day admission. Use code JUNK16 at checkout to be entered to win $50 in Junk Bucks! We are completely full for vendors. If you are interested in becoming a vendor for future events please fill out this form.
